Job Description

Job Description

ABOUT HIROS \n

Hiros is an AI-enabled recruitment technology company building a more scalable model for how businesses find and hire talent.

\n

The company has developed Rose, an AI recruitment agent that manages much of the repetitive work traditionally carried out by recruiters, including candidate sourcing, personalised outreach, response management and interview scheduling.

\n

Rose can search across more than 1 billion professional profiles and operate across the early stages of the recruitment process.

\n

The recruiter remains responsible for the areas where human judgement continues to matter most: understanding the hiring requirement, assessing candidates, advising clients, negotiating and ultimately completing the placement.

\n

The model is designed to allow experienced recruiters to manage materially more hiring activity without requiring an equivalent increase in manual sourcing and administrative capacity.

\n

Hiros has already built and commercially validated the model. The company is revenue-generating across both recurring software subscriptions and placement success fees, and has completed 21 placements across five companies.

\n

The focus is now on scaling.

\n

THE BOARD OPPORTUNITY \n

Hiros is looking to add a limited number of experienced Board Members as the company expands its commercial operation and network.

\n

We are particularly interested in people who understand how recruitment, staffing, technology and talent businesses scale.

\n

The ultimate goal is to turn Rose into an autonomous agent that takes all the tedious work away and makes recruitment easy. There is an opportunity to expand into other industries too.

\n

Board Members will provide senior-level guidance to the founders and contribute experience, relationships and perspective across the areas most important to the company's next stage of growth.

\n

THE MARKET \n

Recruitment is a global industry estimated at approximately $856 billion, and AI-native recruitment companies are already attracting substantial institutional capital.

\n

Recent examples include:

\n
    \n
  • Juicebox — raised an $80 million Series B at an $850 million valuation
  • \n
  • Jack & Jill — raised a $40 million Series A
  • \n
  • Dex — raised an approximately $6 million Seed round led by Notion Capital
  • \n
\n

These funding rounds demonstrate the level of institutional interest developing around AI-enabled recruitment.

\n

Hiros is approaching the opportunity differently from a standalone recruitment software product.

\n

Rose automates high-volume activities such as sourcing, outreach and scheduling, while experienced recruiters remain responsible for the judgement, relationships, negotiation and closing that ultimately convert activity into successful placements.

\n

This allows Hiros to increase recruiter capacity while participating economically across both software adoption and successful hiring outcomes.

\n

HOW HIROS SCALES \n

Companies can use Rose directly through a recurring software subscription, while Hiros also generates revenue when successful placements are completed through its wider recruitment model.

\n

That creates two complementary growth engines:

\n
    \n
  • Recurring software revenue as adoption of Rose increases
  • \n
  • Placement-based revenue as more recruitment activity runs through the Hiros platform
  • \n
\n

Importantly, growth does not rely solely on increasing internal headcount.

\n

The underlying technology allows significantly more sourcing, outreach and candidate engagement to be managed through the same infrastructure, while experienced recruiters continue to manage the high-value human elements of the process.

\n

WHY HIROS \n

The company already has:

\n
    \n
  • A live AI recruitment platform
  • \n
  • Access to more than 1 billion professional profiles
  • \n
  • Paying customers
  • \n
  • Recurring software revenue
  • \n
  • Revenue from successful placements
  • \n
  • Completed placements across five companies
  • \n
  • A commercially validated recruiter-led model
  • \n
  • Two complementary revenue streams
  • \n
  • A product serving both companies and professional recruiters
  • \n
  • Exposure to a large international recruitment market
  • \n
  • US expansion as a key growth priority
  • \n
\n

The opportunity is now to take an already functioning model and build significantly greater scale around it.

\n

ROLE OF BOARD MEMBERS \n

Hiros is particularly looking for Board Members who can contribute across recruitment and staffing, HR technology, recruiter network development, enterprise customer acquisition, marketplace growth, strategic partnerships, AI and product strategy, US expansion and capital strategy.

\n

The intention is not for every Board Member to cover every area.

\n

Hiros wants to build a Board where individual members bring specific experience, relationships and perspectives that complement the existing team and directly support the company's growth priorities.

\n

OWNERSHIP AND LONG-TERM ALIGNMENT \n

The role is designed for candidates who view governance involvement and long-term equity alignment as interconnected priorities.

\n

Board involvement centres on high-level guidance, offering opportunities for capital and ownership integration when expectations match.

\n

This is not a cash-compensated position.

\n

IDEAL PROFILE \n

We are particularly interested in senior executives, founders, investors and board leaders with experience across recruitment, staffing, executive search, talent acquisition, HR technology, recruitment marketplaces or technology-enabled professional services.

\n

Relevant candidates may include agency founders, staffing executives, recruitment CEOs, senior talent leaders, HR-tech founders and operators who have helped build or scale businesses within the sector.

\n

Previous experience with private-company growth, strategic partnerships, commercial expansion or investment is particularly relevant.

\n

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY \n

Hiros welcomes candidates from a wide range of professional and industry backgrounds.

\n

Different operating experience, perspectives and networks are valuable as the company expands internationally and builds the next stage of the organisation.
