Position Overview:
We are seeking meticulous and dedicated Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team at [Hotel Name] in [City, State]. Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests. The ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, debris, and stains.
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including corridors, lobbies, and elevators.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor and respond to any requests or inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper for resolution.
- Ensure guest privacy and security by following established procedures for entering and servicing guest rooms.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, notifying the Housekeeping Supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow Room Attendants and other members of the Housekeeping team to ensure effcient and thorough cleaning of all guest rooms and public areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and share relevant information.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
